Research Interests
- The representation of the Irish in Canadian
imaginative discourse including literature, drama, memoirs,
diaries, autobiographies, letters, etc.
- The images of Ireland created in Canada by
Irish emigrants and Canadians, and the manner in which various
cultural forms – films, theatre, music and dance – are used to
depict, adapt and transfer such images
